All pages on the site, grouped by what they cover

This page lists every page on the site in one place. The reference is organized in five groups: the individual kit pages, the documentation set for the TEMP08, the 1-Wire guides, the reference hubs for documents, parts and links, and the pages about the site itself. Each group below explains what its pages contain.

Kit pages

Each kit page describes one Midon Design product: what it did, which devices it worked with, how it connected to a host and to the 1-Wire bus, and how it was configured. Where the company published schematics, construction notes or firmware commands, the page summarizes them. All of these kits are discontinued.

TEMP08 documentation

The TEMP08 was the most widely used board in the line, and it has a set of pages of its own. Together they work like a user manual: setup first, then host software, then troubleshooting and integration.

1-Wire guides

The guides step back from individual kits and explain topics that apply to any 1-Wire installation. They draw on the application notes and articles that accompanied the kits, and they connect that material to current hardware and software.

Reference hubs

Four hub pages collect material that cuts across the kits. They are the quickest way to compare products, identify a part or find an official datasheet.

  • Kit catalogue: every kit with a one-line summary and a comparison by host link, function and era.
  • Document library: the manuals, application notes and datasheets that existed for the kits, with two documents available here.
  • Components reference: the sensor chips, microcontrollers, regulators, relays and connectors used across the line.
  • Useful links: maintained 1-Wire and home automation resources, from analog.com to OWFS and Home Assistant.

About the site

The remaining pages describe the site itself: where its information comes from, how to report an error, and how visitor data and illustrations are handled.

  • Home page: an introduction to Midon Design and the kit line, with paths into each section.
  • About: the history of the company and its kits, and how this reference is written and checked.
  • Contact: the editorial address for corrections and resource suggestions.
  • Privacy notice: no cookies, no analytics, and what the server logs record.
  • AI notice: how the illustrations are generated and what is drawn by hand.
  • Site map: this page.

If a page seems to be missing or a link does not work, the contact page explains how to report it.

Questions and answers

Which page is the best starting point for the Midon kits?

The kit catalogue gives the best overview. It summarizes every product in one line, compares them by host connection, function and era, and links each kit page. From there, TEMP08 owners can move to the TEMP08 documentation set, and anyone planning new wiring can go to the network wiring guide.

Where are the TEMP08 instructions and FAQ?

They are part of the TEMP08 documentation group listed on this page. The instructions page covers power, connections, option settings and commands, the software page covers host programs, the FAQ collects common problems, the HomeSeer page covers that integration, and a separate page explains RJ11 versus RJ12 plugs.

Is there a page for each 1-Wire sensor chip?

No. Sensor chips are described together on the components reference, with their function and the kits that used them. The sensors page covers the finished parts the company offered for its interfaces, and the document library points to the official datasheets on analog.com, which remain the best source for chip-level detail.

How can a broken link or missing page be reported?

Use the editorial address given on the contact page, and include the address of the page with the problem and the link that failed. Messages are not answered individually, but confirmed problems are fixed on the site. The same address is used for corrections to facts and for resource suggestions.
